This was taken for a photography competition at work. We were supplied with an A3 sized flag bearing the name of the Arts Club; the flag had to be in the shot, but otherwise the theme was pretty open. This was taken on a white(ish!) wall with just a small desklamp used to help create the shadows.

This was taken for a photography competition where the theme was ‘contrast’. I had the idea of taking this shot, but had no dominoes. So, this was, I think, the first time that I have ever bought a prop for my photography.

This was also the first time that I’ve really tried to do a close-up shot at home. As I don’t have a light-tent, I had to make do with a few sheets of paper and two desk lamps!
