This statue, Alison Lapper Pregnant, which can be found on the fourth plinth in Trafalgar Square, tends to polarise opinions. I personally quite like it, mainly for the fact that it is just something different to the other statues in Westminster, which are predominantly heroic male figures.

Another one from Speakers’ Corner. This guy had some “interesting” theories and was certainly getting the crowd riled up. In hindsight, I wish I had got behind the guy and taken a picture of his back with the angry crowds. I may pay another visit here in the future.

St. John’s Wood tube station on the Jubilee line. I took this shot as the escalators are strikingly different to most on the Underground. They are very dark bronze in colour, rather than the usual silver. Also, I liked the lighting touches and the Way Out sign

Speakers’ Corner in Hyde Park is usually good for a laugh, with people debating/arguing passionately about their subjects of choice. In amongst all the religious and political shouting, I came across this guy, spreading the love!

Another early morning shot of Battersea Power station. Unlike the other shot, this is just one exposure, not HDR.

Even if you’ve visited Bankside, you probably haven’t seen this sign, unless you are observant whilst walking south over the Millennium footbridge at low tide.

I think that this shot is quite interesting, because it seems the visitors to the British Museum look a little lost and completely unaware of the dramatic phrase beneath their feet

Credit to Alex Zapata for the inspiration for my shot and its processing.

Here’s a shot I’ve been meaning to take for a while. Getting up early was always the problem. However, as I was up at 6am yesterday for Shooting-All-The-Time Day, I thought that I’d make the riverbanks of Chelsea my first stop.

This is an HDR shot, made from 3 RAW files, I might post some non-HDR ones as part of my write-up of the day.
